Just Hangin' Round and Waiting for Christmas!

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!
I've got a quick little project to show you today. I had some spur of the moment time in my studio and my eyes fell upon my new Magnolia Fall Kit with their new Christmas stamps. Time was short, so I grabbed this little image called 'Holding Tilda' and the larger of the 'Sweet Snowflakes' to make a quick and easy Christmas ornament. The entire Sweet Christmas Dreams 2001 collection is available at Magnolia-licious, where you'll find the fastest shipping, the largest Magnolia selection in North America, and the best customer service around.

Just Hangin' Round and Waiting for Christmas!

The images were colored very quickly with Copic markers. It was cut and embossed with a basic SB circle die. When I did the embossing, I used my new favorite 'No Shims' embossing mat. Every time I use this mat, I'm amazed at how deep the embossing actually is. You can't really see it in the photo, but in real life you can see just how deep it is. I also used it on the the silver snowflake that I cut with another SB die. Because of the shine of the silver cardstock, you can actually see the embossing in the photo. I think it looks really great. The accordian pleated rosette was cut with a Tim Holtz die and I used a dp from Magnolia. It's actually one of my favorite papers from Magnolia and it's my very last sheet of it :-( I'm really going to have to be careful so I can make the rest of it last through the season.

That's it for me today! I hope you have a wonderful day :-)
