Wishing you were here...

Hi Everyone!  I have a really fun nautical card to show you today.  I had soooooo much fun making this card.  I have fallen in love with easel cards because you can do so much with them.  When I saw the image of the lifebuoy, I knew exactly how I wanted to use it.  I hope you like it :-)

Here's my card...
Wishing You Were Here

Here's the front of the card when it's closed.  I love how it turned out. The squigglies are glitter and didn't photograph well. Believe me, it looks much better in person.

Here's the card when it's open. Beach Tilda is sitting on Pier Fence With Lifebuoy and she's missing her friend.

Here's an angled view so you can see the dimension of the card. I really like how this card turned out. The dp's are from TPC Studio's - Heartfelt Travel collection. The cs is Bazzill. I embellished it very simply with some shells that I found in my button drawer.

I colored the images with a combination of Copic markers and watercolors with Ranger Distress Inks. Here are the details:

Copics: E00, 02, 35, 44, 50, 53, RV21, W1, 3, 5, 7, C5

Distress Inks: black soot, barn door, faded jeans
The sentiment was printed on a laser printer. I added some glitter just to make it pop a little.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed my easel card. I absolutely loved making it.

Edit:  It has been brought to my attention by a viewer that I have violated Magnolia's Angel Policy by enlarging the Lifebuoy.  My apologies to Magnolia for this.  It truly was not an intentional violation.  It never occured to me that an enlargement was considered a modification since the integrity of the image remained the same.  Going forward I will not make the same mistake.

Ciao,

Angie
