Wedding March!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to the Magnolia-licious Blog Hop!!! Today we have a 'Wedding' theme for all you romantics!!! The Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge Blog has all of the details. If you came from the lovely Cheryl's blog, then you're well on your way. If not, then feel free to start over at the Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge Blog so you don't miss out on any of the gorgeous DT creations. Wedding season is definitely upon us with the coming of June, so I hope you'll take part and join us in this challange. I can't wait to see what you come up with!!!

Here's my creation...I hope you like it!

Here Comes the Bride
When I thought about doing a napkin fold card with a wedding theme, the only image I could imagine using was this #159 Classic Bridal Couple. I framed them with a soft background that I created with #736 Emblem. On the inside of the card you will see that I also used the sentiment Wishing Two People. All three stamps are from Magnolia's Wedding Collection 2010. You can get yours and more at Magnolia-licious!

If you're interested in trying one of these cards, you can find a tutorial at StampARTic.

Now, I realize the photos are a little dark. But, I wanted you to be able to see all of the details around the edges too. If I brightened it too much, all of that was lost on the white background. It kinda lost the effect that way!
These gorgeous dp's are from GCD Studios. I've had them for quite a while and finally had the right opportunity to use them. The cs is by Bazzill, of course. I cut the image using a SB die from the Large Octagons set. The doily is from my stash. I used a MS Punch Around the Page set to trim the white cs. The gorgeous brown ribbon is from my stash.

The image was colored with Copic markers. Here are the details:

E000, 00, 01, 11, 13, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, R81, 85, 39, 20, YG03, 25, 91, Y21, N0, 1, 3, 5, 7, C1, 3, W00, 1, 3, 5

Here you can see how full the card actually is.

This is how it looks as you start to open it. Now you can see where most of the work is!!! I swear, I felt like I was learning origami while making this card! My goodness...all the folds and re-folds! Oy Vey! The only thing that saved me was my Scor-Pal!!! These folds have to be very precise and I don't think it's possible to survive making this card without a Scor-Pal. Seriously! If you don't have one, I highly recommend getting one before attempting a napkin fold card :-) I absolutely LOVE this card style, but I wouldn't make one without my Scor-Pal!!!

And here it is, open fully, exposing the sweet Magnolia sentiment on the inside.

That's it for today! Next up is Patti Jo's fab creation. I just know she has something absolutely awesome to show you!!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!! I hope you'll leave a little comment to let me know you were here :-)

Ciao,

Angie

Hi Everyone! I've got a really fun card for you today.  I hope you like it!

Friends are flowers that never fade...

This little cutie pie is Tilda with Stuffed Animal and she's from Magnolia's 'Butterfly dreams collection. She is sitting on Wheelbarrow (from the same collection). Both are currently available over at Magnolia-licious so hop on over and get yours!!! I paired her with dp's from the MME Stella Rose 'Hazel' collection. All cs is by Bazzill. The flowers are from several manufacturers: WOC, Magnolia, and Recollections. The sweet sentiment is from Whimsy's 'Spring Letter Seals' collection and it was punched out with a SU punch.
